Is Europe Hall the best dorm at UCSD?

Students rated Europe Hall a 4.3/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Overall I think ERC's dorms are the nicest although they are pretty far from the rest of main campus and lecture halls that most classes are at. I lived on the fourth floor which consisted on 5 triples and 1 single that all shared a common area. You walk in and immediately see the huge common area with a large couch and dining table and the rooms are all lined against the back wall with the bathroom at the end. The room itself is not the most spacious when sharing with 2 other people but it has 2 large closets with drawers and another small cupboard under the lofted bed for the third person. The only major issue that we had was when it got really hot there were termites by the windowsill. The best part about these dorms are that they face the ocean so there is a nice breeze and a beautiful view. As well as a small communal kitchen for everyone to use on the first floor. The bathrooms are pretty nice and are cleaned daily so there were rarely issues between my suitemates with any common area things. Overall would recommend living in the dorms first year and all the ERC buildings are the same!

I was really lucky and got 4th floor. My suite had a nice view, was very breezy, and had a relatively large common area and balcony. ERC is far away from most classes but I liked that because I could physically distance my relaxing place from schoolwork. The only downsides are the super slow elevator and the slow wifi. (1st floor is really dingy. you can hear all the footsteps upstairs and there's no ventilation) People say Cafe V sucks, but at least OVT, Bistro, and the Village Market are nearby. Gliderport is also a plus.
