Best dorms at UCSD?

The dorms in Eighth College are really good quality because they were just built, and they are close to the Amazon Hub and some bus stops. It is a far walk from the middle of campus though.

Pepper Canyon West is the best!! I lived in Rita Atkinson last year which was okay but PCW is more centrally located with nicer apartments! And the views from the high rise are too good!!

I would say the best dorm is Pepper Canyon West (Rya) because it’s spacious and has a nice view. Even though it’s far from central campus, we have immediate access to the trolley. Having study spaces on each floor is also great, especially with the library no longer being 24hrs. The only downside is that there is no dining hall nearby and because most of the building is made of concrete, it gets pretty dusty.

I’d say the best dorm at UCSD is Pepper Canyon West, especially for transfer students. It’s the newest housing, and the terrace is a great spot to hang out or study with friends. Also, the rooms and bathrooms are modern and simple, making for a comfortable living experience.

I think the best dorms have to be any of the ones in Sixth. They have a good view, centered in the middle of campus, and the food is actually good. The dining hall is nice with solid options but Plant Power, Blue Bowl, and Fan Fan are also there for those who don't want dining hall food.

The best dorms in general is anywhere in Sixth (Catalyst, Kaleidoscope, Tapestry, or Mosaic) Those dorms are fairly modern with a good view of the beach and is the center of campus. The walking distance from sixth to classes are definitely not as bad as other dorms. Also sixth has a great dining hall.
