Worst dorms at UCSD?

I think the worst dorms at UCSD might be Pepper Canyon East. The state of the apartments are very rundown and old. There also appears to be a lack of security, as there are frequent robberies. The apartments are also located further from the central part of campus, causing inconvenience. There is also sound pollution, as the apartments are located so close to the trolley and the freeway.

I think the worst dorms at UCSD would be ERC. I didn’t like the layout at all. There are too many people living in one area and just so many people in the suites in general. The exterior is quite off putting and is very dull, which didn’t make the interior any better. I also heard there were infestations in the buildings. The location is also really far off from central campus and everything is a long walk away.

I think the worst dorms might be Matthews apartments near Pepper Canyon East. It's so similar to the other Pepper Canyon East dorms but it feels so much smaller and more cramped. I lived in Pepper Canyon East and I don't think it was as bad, especially if you get lucky with little roommates/housemates.

It might have to be Pepper Canyon East because of the distance. It's also pretty old compared to the rest so it's not modern. Just to walk to main campus is already a distance and there's no dining halls nearby except for a small grocery store. It just feels so much more isolated than main campus. That said, people definitely don't give Pepper Canyon enough credit because the apartment style is very nice.
