Is 319 Huntington Ave the best dorm at Northeastern?

Students rated 319 Huntington Ave a 3.1/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

This dorm is a scam. Unless you get free housing in your scholarship or you absolutely do not have the means to rent an off campus apartment try not to live here. I lived in a 3 person apartment, 1 double and 1 single. The apartment 100% was originally just 2 rooms, a living room with a kitchen, and a bedroom (and a bathroom attached to the living room of course). Northeastern decided to put a cheap ass wall to separate the living room from the kitchen area to make that a double room. So now the kitchen area is this 5 ft by 6ft area with a 4 person table slammed up against the wall. There is no room for anything else in that tiny area. The single room was deluxe as it was huge but its window was in the alleyway right above where they keep the trash so you can never open that one. The appliances and bathroom sucked as well. Also, there is mice. Please do not give NEU money to live in this apartment that should honestly be condemned. When I lived there the ceiling of the first floor collapsed due to age and water damage and they kinda just stuck it back up there. Also the laundry is in the basement where the mice are :(

Had studio double, should have been for one person. Single large room including kitchenette, very low quality, usually bottom of the barrel for selection. Appliances were new which was nice. Saw a rat once. Bathroom extremely low quality, shower was open bathtub with curtains

Lived here in a double studio with a bunk bed, two standard desks and private kitchen and bathroom. Rooms can be dim if not facing the street. There's no AC or ventilation so when you cook the whole place becomes a hot mess. Really bad shower that's either boiling hot/freezing cold every few minutes. LOTS of cockroaches but haven't seen any rats. Find any way possible to avoid this place if you have other available options.

The location was perfect. Right in the middle of all the important spots + across the street from campus. I lived in a studio double. Luckily, my roommate and i got along super well, so we made the space work. It’s very small and intimate. You get absolutely no privacy. We faced the alley, so that meant never seeing the sun. Super hot in the summer. The kitchen was impossibly small and the room was old. The rug was disgusting and the floors were cracked. The bathroom was surprisingly big and probably the only nice thing in this studio. It’s insane that the school considers this standard, i don’t even know how they offer it as an option for two people, let alone one. we moved out for the spring semester.

Great location on Huntington Ave, but old building - lots of cockroaches, no air conditioning.
