Is Thomas Hall the best dorm at UF?

Students rated Thomas Hall a 3.8/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Thomas is a great starter dormitory for underclassmen. It’s in the center of UF and it is in walking distance of many freshmen classes, hang out spots, and necessities. It’s right across the street from midtown which a popular area that has many establishments that include food, hair, and shopping buildings. I would recommend people live here. The rooms are decent and if you get a compatible roommate or roommates you will be fine.

I honestly loved Thomas, it was great as a freshman. The room was a perfectly adequate size, especially if you don’t have too many things, and I love the balcony. My biggest gripe is with the bathroom because there’s only 1 shower for 12 people. It’s not a social form but if that’s not something you’re looking for, it’s perfect. Walls are thin, as they are in any other hall but it’s something to be mindful of. Also!!! There’s a sink which is extremely convenient at all hours of the day!

LOVE THOMAS Quiet, more academic, generally older residents, in room sinks, bathroom shared by 8 or so students, 1 kitchen shared by the three floors (maybe 20 people total). Historic area of campus. Close to many locations.
