Is East Hall the best dorm at UF?
Students rated East Hall a 3.1/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Old building with typical double rooms and communal hall bathrooms. Great location—right next to dining hall and student union! Super quiet and friendly/social halls (not a party dorm but social).
I really enjoyed my time at East Hall! It is close to the stadium which is great for football games, and only a short walk to Reitz which was really convenient. My floor was social but not crazy loud which I appreciated as someone used to quiet. But it’s a dorm the lack of privacy can be difficult and the stairs after a long day really suck.
Engineering LLC - absolutely had a blast with other Engineers. Amazing location, all my classes we just a walk down stadium road. Though make the rooms too warm/damp and you got mold 😕. Don't leave a damp towel in laundry basket. Bare bones dorm that needs renovated, but bathrooms are as nice as communal ones get, and the people are great. Would stay agian for the people. Kitchen in common lounge, building next door to dining hall
