Very good location, close to the Chic-fil-a and broward dining. Used to be the best location when the pool and the tennis courts were back there but it was replaced by the new honors dorms. Very walkable to marston library if you are big on studying. The room layouts are the typical 1 room for 2 people with enough space for everyone unless you are in a triple. the rooms were generally clean. the bathroom were on one end of the hall, and a long walk if you are on the other side. Very social dorm overall.

I’ve lived in 3 dorms and Broward is 100% the best. Unbeatable location, updated rooms and laminate flooring, an elevator (on one side), water bottle filling stations inside, I could go on. No dorm is perfect but in my opinion this is the best you can get

Great location to be near the libraries, stores, and just about all the activities on campus are just a 5 minute walk away. If you're on West wing, even better as it just got renovated so it's much more lively and modern than East wing. So many social people that are nice and open on most floors, though pretty loud and much partying. Not good if you're a quiet or introverted person like me tbh. But makes it all the more fun and interesting.

What you typically expect from a freshmen dorm. Was renovated a few years ago and overall was great. It is right next to the dining hall and is in the center of campus so you can’t beat the location. I would definitely recommend this dorm to incoming freshmen.

The Broward area is by far the best location to live as a freshman if you want to be central to campus and have easy access to dining halls, libraries, and classes. It is definitely a social dorm that is the stereotypical "freshman dorm" at UF. Important note: bring sweatpants/sweatshirt/anything warm because it stays freezing in the rooms, but you don't want to turn the A/C down because it will get moldy/humid like most dorms will. Overall, I had a great experience at Broward, and I would highly recommend it for incoming freshman to UF.

Great location, pretty new, and clean. Pretty much the only thing I didn’t like was that you couldn’t turn the AC off or mold would grow. It was freezing!!
