Is Coral Tower the best dorm at NYU?
Students rated Coral Tower a 2.9/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
The room is terrible. The bathroom toilet cover isn't the same size as the toilet so you'll be partially sitting on the rim (at least that's how it was for me), there's always weird smells in the air, and the actual room is pretty small for what you pay. Location is pretty decent (14th and 3rd) but the actual building is ugly and really easy to miss. Carlyle costs the same and is much better.
There’s a variety of rooms, depending on budget. I had the regular price one, which was huge. The common/kitchen area was pretty small, but worked well enough. Location is great, about a 15 minute walk to WSP and near the two cafeterias at Palladium and UHall. Would recommend trying to live on a lower floor as the 2 elevators can take a while when everyone is rushing to class. Staff was very helpful when moving out due to COVID.
