Is Clark Street the best dorm at NYU?

the lighting is absolutely bad and the beds are small. The neighborhoods is relatively safe but the facilities are kinda old. Especially the elevator always broke.

NO. DON'T LIVE HERE. This building is not owned by NYU but EHS. They barely care about your life. Only two elevators are there and always broken somehow so you have to wait 5 mins. The most ridiculous thing is that they are repairing the exterior wall of the building, and you'll be awaken at 7:30 when workers use the fucking electronic drill to break the bricks. You feel the whole room is shaking and very annoyed, but EHS will tell you that they have no control over that. You have to endure the noise everyday before they finish their fucking work. Don't think it's a short-term experience. I've been living here with noise for over 2 semesters, even after changing to another room. The EHS team sucks.

far from schools（tandon/wsp campus），but free gym（really large）. have to share common space with other schools

10 minutes walk from tandon. Safe neighborhood but no many good restaurants around. Some rooms are large and some are small. Old elevators. The kitchen can be crowded sometimes.

If you are lucky enough to get a high cost triple, there is no dorm that will be able to compare to it. They have large bathrooms with both a shower and a separate bathtub. The bathroom has a large counter for your stuff and the toilet is separated by a wall. If you get a double it is not that bad but can suck if you aren't close to your roommate. You will get a decent amount of space for yourself. The double rooms have decent bathrooms but nothing crazy. If you get a low cost triple..... its really bad. Barely any personal space, your desk is under your bunk bed. The bathrooms might not have a counter, no bathtub, just a tile shower.
