Is 509 Park Drive the best dorm at BU?

Students rated 509 Park Drive a 3.8/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Living here for the summer and it's a great experience so far. A lot of student employees grouped here so it can be social. I live in a single-single suite with a living room and kitchen. The rooms are really nice and spacious, and the living room too. Kitchen is a bit cramped esp if I need to cook alongside my roommate, but we've made things work. Bathroom is really nice. One downside to living here is the immense amount of noise that comes from being so close to Beacon St and Park Dr. I literally witnessed a car crash happen as I was making dinner because I'm facing the street and it was kind of terrifying (thankfully no one was seriously hurt). The other thing is that this area can be a little sketchy at night. It's right across the Dominos that was robbed last academic year and there are a lot of loud people/cars at night. Additionally, there is no AC and the building can get hot at times, so fans are generally a necessity. Washing room downstairs is dirty and the dryers don't dry very well. All in all, I would recommend living here. It would be a great dorm during the regular academic year if you're looking for a quiet social scene and proximity to central campus.
