Warren Towers Reviews

Boston University East Campus

Reviews Summary

Warren Towers is the quintessential freshman dorm at BU, offering a social atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to make friends. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of campus, making it a short walk to most classes. The building provides a dining hall, laundry facilities, and study spaces, all within reach. While the rooms may be small and outdated, the sense of community and proximity to campus amenities make up for it. The communal bathrooms and occasional maintenance issues are drawbacks, but the lively atmosphere and central location make Warren Towers a top choice for freshmen looking for an authentic college experience.

Overall, Warren isn't the worst compared to what I've seen/heard about housing at other schools. As a freshman, my floor felt kind of social, but there were also a decent amount of sophomores, and I never experienced the "floor bond" that some people talk about. Pros: - Most people in the building are freshmen, so if you make friends in class you can easily hang out in their dorm rooms until late at night and then just take the elevator back to yours - Dining hall in the building, though the food there is usually mid - Fairly big room with a lot of storage - Common room with a sink + filtered water dispenser on every floor - Good water pressure in (one of) the showers; bathroom is cleaned every day and I often talked to the person cleanin...

the hallway looks like a jail. the bathrooms manage to be worse. the lounge is grim, it’s so depressing you’ll want to die walking in. BU, you get millions a year, pls just give us some lights and more than two toilets

briliant dorm, great people. a lot of fun memories there. it is a bit pricey, especially as an international student and can make it hard to justify the price.

Warren honestly was a really positive freshman dorm experience. The location is absolutely amazing as it allows you to be right in the middle of campus. Although it’s older and things sometimes don’t work (drain in sink) it provides you with a really warm community and group of people! I would really recommend this dorm to all freshman looking to be surrounded by a diverse group of students!

I love warren! If you are high maintenance or scared of communal bathrooms, it might not be your place. Truly, though, for freshman, it can't be beat. The location and social life are amazing, and I have no regrets. Dining hall is inside the building as well.

Warren Towers is extremely convenient if you have a ton of classes in East and Central Campus. It also has an in-house laundry room and an in-house dining hall which can be convenient during the cold winters. It's honestly not as bad as people may argue, but our bathrooms have mold and rust. It is also pretty dusty in the dorm rooms, especially near the heaters so just be aware. Warren Towers has a good mix of Freshmen, Sophomores, and Transfer. It also has a lot of study spaces and a game room.

I lived on Warren Towers 12 floor of C(Shields Tower) my freshman year and I absolutely loved it. I think while it may not be the most luxurious spot on campus for housing, it definitely helps underclassmen by giving them a shared space with others. Some of my closest friends still live with me today from freshmen year.
