Is McCarthy Honors Residential College the best dorm at USC?

Students rated McCarthy Honors Residential College a 4.8/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

I took all ratings down a notch just because the people who lived there were so annoying. They are all sort of try hards and very cliquey. But it's a brand new building, pretty nice amenities, super close to the dining hall. If you're an honors student looking to make friends live somewhere else, maybe birnkrant or parkside

It was pretty chill dorms were not super big and could’ve had better amenities since it’s from usc but it is wat it is

Ultra-nice, great amenities and overall aesthetic appeal. Culture is kind of annoying; it wasn't at all nerdy/anti-social like I expected. It's mostly a bunch of average people who try really hard but still want to seem cool, smoke, and party.

Really great place to live. Easily the nicest freshman dorm. There is a good mix of people living here (they don't all conform to the "nerd" stereotype). If you have the opportunity to live here, TAKE IT.

Love the building! Nice bathrooms & rooms, but I would say it’s less social than the other dorms bc of the closed door policy :( My room style: 8 person (4bd 2bath) Also, sorry for the weirdly edited photo. I tried to find the ogs, but I think I deleted them🫠
