Nemirovsky and Bohnett Reviews
University of Southern California
Reviews Summary
Nemirovsky and Bohnett dorm offers a mix of modern amenities and convenient location. Students praised the spacious rooms, updated appliances, and natural light. The dorm provides AC, kitchens, and laundry rooms, making it a comfortable choice for residents. Some students mentioned the frequent fire alarms as a downside, but overall, the dorm is well-maintained. The location near DTLA, Target, and Trader Joe's adds to its appeal, with easy access to campus. While noise levels can be an issue due to thin walls, the numerous study lounges offer quiet spaces for focused work. The loft rooms are compact yet functional, ideal for those who prioritize practicality. Security measures are in place, and the presence of RAs ensures a safe living environment. Despite some challenges like limited bathroom access and small kitchen counters, the dorm's homey atmosphere and proximity to amenities make it a popular choice among students. For those seeking a balance between comfort and convenience, Nemirovsky and Bohnett dorm is a top recommendation for a pleasant college living experience in the Village.

Nembo is the absolute best building in the village. It is the closest to the main entrance of campus and the convenience of living right next to TJs and Target is unbeatable. The 6P rooms are spacious, with one bedroom and one bathroom on one side of the kitchen and then two bedrooms and one bathroom on the other side (sinks in hallway, then a toilet room). There is a large pantry area (see pictures) and all the beds can be lofted for additional storage. The living room comes with a 6 person table, 2 couch pieces, and 2 entertainment centers. The refrigerator is provided but not a microwave or TV. Each bathroom comes with a large storage cabinet with 4 shelves. There is a ton of cabinet space in the kitchen, more than we needed. Spacious room and updated appliances. Nemirovsky has a great view of DTLA and windows have access to natural light. Only con is that the fire alarm will go off pretty often from malfunctions.
I liked living here, there is AC, spacious living, a kitchen, and laundry rooms. I would say don’t live on the second floor near the indoor courtyard because you dont really get kight in your room and if your window is open people can look in.
Good location, easy access to target and Trader Joe’s. Not too far from campus either, so it is very convenient to live here. The loft is small, but it works well for me because I’m mostly outside of my dorm throughout the week
Lived here my sophomore year. very hard to get this place but it makes sense why. super great place with AC, kitchen, living room, and a lot of study lounges.
If you can get this place as a sophomore, you are in for a great deal. AC, private bathrooms, kitchen, and basically an apartment is what you get. Not that social, but I like to live in a space where it is more quiet. Walls are thin though.
Modern and comes fully furnished. The smaller bedroom of the 2B4P has a huge closet space. The couch is really uncomfortable though. Amazing roof courtyards. You won't always get a study room when you want one but there are seating areas outside the hallway.
I live in a Double Room and the dorms are great! The kitchen and living room are splendid. I believe its the best housing. There are security downstairs and 2 laundry rooms in the 4th floor.
Nemirovsky has plenty of lounges, though it does tend to fill up during finals season. That said, it is very comfortable compared to other freshman dorms and I would highly recommend living there if possible.
Nemi is pretty nice. The rooms are good and there's more space than you think. The only downside is the lounges are impossible to find especially when it's midterm season. Location is nice obviously because it's in the Village, so it's a pretty solid option.
