Is Century the best dorm at USC?

Students rated Century a 3.5/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Century was an overall nice apartment-style community. It was not as updated as other USC apartments, but the rooms were very spacious and the community was quiet for the most part. I would definitely invest in additional lighting such as a lamp because the lighting already included was pretty dim. The main complaint I have for century is the laundry room as it was always full and there just wasn't enough machines on every floor. The location was a big plus with Century as it is right down the street from the village and right across from the main campus. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Century and definitely recommend if you are looking for a spacious, quiet, apartment right near campus!

I actually lived here 2 years in a row. It’s not the newest (hence the lower score) but the kitchens are pretty large and have good counter space. The living rooms are also spacious. The bedrooms vary depending on which kind of room you have, but even the smaller rooms are doable, especially if you spend more time in the common areas or out of the apartment. It’s still close to the campus, but it’s remote enough to feel like you’re getting away a little. Plus it’s a pretty short walk to the village. It’s also nice for bringing guests around since there’s no fingerprint scanning, though you stills have the security of the card readers at entrances and at the elevator plus the keys to the apartment. Oh, also it’s a pretty cheap option compared to other on campus housing options for non-freshman. Overall, I liked living in Century.

It's apartment-style student housing so it's a great way to prep to live on your own with the cushion of it being school affiliated housing in case something goes wrong. It's not as glamorous as living in the village, but it is cheaper and you have access to a pool. Rooms don't have the best lighting so it would help to bring your own lamp. It's a little further from campus than the other dorms but only by like a block. I enjoyed my year in Century.
