Is Crabtree Hall the best dorm at UMass Amherst?

Students rated Crabtree Hall a 3.5/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Wonderful Location, Everything else is very disappointing. The rooms are too small, and it is very stiffy

Not the best dorm, but it's near Worcester dining hall and close to stem classes which is nice.

The room itself is pretty old and the hot water pipes in the ceiling make the room a little overheated in the winter months. Common spaces aren't the best but they are there. There is a small kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and stove. Northeast is generally pretty quiet but it's not asocial—if you want to make friends in the dorm it's definitely possible. The location is extremely convenient if you have classes in any of the STEM buildings.

The location is amazing , especially if you are a CS (or related) major. The rooms are not too big but overall they are good enough
