Zura Reviews
San Diego State University
Reviews Summary
Zura Hall is a modern and vibrant dormitory renowned for its lively social atmosphere and convenient amenities. While the rooms tend to be on the smaller side, with many designed as triples in spaces intended for doubles, they are notably clean. Some residents might find the window placement a bit tricky, limiting natural light. Zura Hall caters well to students who appreciate an active social life, offering plenty of opportunities to meet new people and form connections, given its proximity to three other dorm buildings. Though community bathrooms can sometimes be challenging and less than pristine, the overall cleanliness of Zura is commendable. The dorm's outdoor facilities, including a pool and welcoming communal areas, enhance the living experience, providing students with a refreshing retreat within a bustling campus environment. However, residents should be prepared for occasional inconveniences, such as broken elevators and limited laundry access. Despite these minor drawbacks, Zura offers a dynamic living experience that is particularly appealing to those who enjoy a party-centric lifestyle.

Rooms are hella small. Most are triples in double sized rooms. Might get unlucky with window placement.

Zura rooms can be tiny sometimes, the way my room is organized there is not much possibility for natural light to come in. However, Zura dorms are relatively clean compared to many other dorms on campus.

It’s modern and nice. Rooms are decently sized but community bathrooms are a challenge. Pool and outside area is super nice.

I lived in a triple on the 8th floor of Zura hall. The building has about 300 students in it and you are adjacent to 3 other dorm style buildings. One uoside was there was alwsy a new person to meet while a downside was the elevators were always broke. You share bathrooms with your floor so that can get nasty at times. The laundry room isnt 24 hours but at the same time isnt always busy if you go at the right time.
