best dorm actually. depending on the building, ur either above trader joes or a bunch of restaurants. all rooms here have their own bathroom which is shared with roommates. (you do have to clean it yourself, but imo that's better than communal bathrooms.) room is surprisingly bigger than expected, definitely bigger than some other dorms on campus. building is fairly new and modern and it's a short walk to get to campus. also has two elevators that all students can use, as well as a trash chute for easy waste disposal. worst part would probably some people, as some don't quite know how to clean up after themselves in communal areas.

Best dorm on campus! Clean, modern, safe, personal bathroom, and a great location! Try not to overpack since there is limited space!

One of the best freshman dorms , specifically with the learning communities. Also really close to campus and trader joes.

Pros: - Personal bathroom - Cleanliness overall Cons: - 3 people shoved into such a small space, kind of feels like a prison cell

Easily the best dorm on Campus, with easy access to all the foods and rooms with tall ceilings. We also have our own bathrooms, so we only need to share with your two other roommates. Our floor is pretty social and it is all freshmen so how many friends you make is purely dependent on how willing you are to talk with others. Lastly, my roommates were pretty chill which also helped my dorm experience. One of them plays guitar and piano so we have a keyboard set up by the window. It's pretty nice and I am super lucky to be in SCP.

Best freshman dorm at SDSU for sure. The building is very new and clean, the rooms are big, really good natural light and high ceilings so it doesn’t feel cramped even with the bunks. It’s super nice having dining options right downstairs, but I wish we had access to a pool nearby like some other dorms. I’ve also heard other buildings are more social than South Campus but my floor was plenty social.

I love the dorm room itself. A great size and you get your own bathrooms and sinks. You also have a little entry area which most of the other ones don’t have. So overall more room. Cons is that you do have to buy your own bathroom stuff such as toilet paper bc you have your own bathroom and clean it yourself but it’s not a big deal. Another con is that it doesn’t have a pool or special food like the other dorms do. But you’re right above the other food options is nice.

Living in South Campus was really nice. It has a lot of space in the dorms and private bathrooms. It is also super close to campus and right next to a majority of the food places. The only con would be that since each room has its own bathroom and spacious rooms, there are not a lot of shared common spaces like other dorms.

This dorm is by far the nicest freshman dorm on the SDSU campus. Rooms are spacious, high ceilings, big windows, and lots of natural light. Bathroom is a little dingy but it’s worth it for having your own. Located very centrally on campus, only downside is lots of homeless people/tweakers hang out near the transit center/building entrance.

The room itself is fairly spacious. All dorms here are triples. Students who live in these dorms have there own sink and bathroom. It is conveniently located close to the student union, trolley station, and restaurants.
