  • Number 4

    Villa Alvarado

    based on 1 review

"I lived in one of the renovated units, so it’s a lot more different than the non renovated ones. The appliances are a bit nicer, but the cabinets and drawers are definitely more modern.

    Pros: gated community, REALLY spacious

Cons: living room has no lighting, bathroom set up in the renovated units is weird (separate room for shower and toilet, and the shower is right across the sinks so not much privacy outside of the shower door), floor’s really dirty no matter how much you mop, far from campus, no elevators if you live on the 2nd/3rd floors" - 2 years ago

    Toltec

    Toltec at SDSU

"As a second year, living in Toltec was way better than expected. Before living here I had only heard bad things about the Tecs. However, the living space was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. I share a room with my roommate and we have a walk in closet and a bathroom in our room. I think the sizes of the room are big enough for two people to put all their stuff and be comfortable. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all good sizes for a college apartment. We have enough room for all the appliances and lots of cupboard space. The only bad thing would be that there are no ceiling lights in the bedrooms or living rooms so they give you a lot of lamps. Overall, I liked living in Toltec and it may be a little farther from campus compared to the other options but having all of the other apartments here is nice. " - 1 year ago

    Mixquic

    based on 1 review

"Mixquic is the furthest away from all the second year housing "tecs" but it's definitely the most modern. There are 6 people to an apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We had a huge living room, kitchen, and even a backyard (we were a corner apartment, not sure if this applies to the others). However, we were supposed to walk to another building to do laundry (main downside). They definitely painted the apartment to be more modern and pretty good for what we paid for. It's just a small complex and at the end of the Tecs so def the most quiet! " - 1 year ago

    Granada

    based on 1 review

"I live in a double, which is a bunk bed and the bedroom is a little small for two people. Overall, the apartment is nice and we have a large living room and kitchen area and good amenities such as in apartment wash and dryers and the common room. " - 1 year ago
