Is North House the best dorm at Vanderbilt?
Students rated North House a 3.7/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Pros: first two floors have singles/doubles with private restrooms but some are prone to flooding. Cons: older dorm, no laundry.
Old building but the rooms were pretty nice. Walk in closets and faux wood floors instead of tile like most commons houses. First two floors have private bathrooms that I hear are nice but the other floors have public bathrooms. Laundry in another building which is not ideal but I loved the location and was overall glad I lived in north
I lived on the first floor, so private bathroom. No laundry which kind of sucked, but overall a solid dorm. Dr. McClure is also the best head of house imo.
Decently sized rooms, probably closest to campus among the other Commons houses. 1st and 2nd floors get private bathrooms but there's no laundry and the building is kinda old.
Corner room for North house, was super spacious and relatively quiet to the rest of the floor. Good people and great community.
