Is West House the best dorm at Vanderbilt?

West is typically ranked the 3rd worst Commons house after Gillette and East in terms of amenities. During my year, the water heater was broken for 4 weeks so everyone had to walk to North to take showers. The nice thing is that we have laundry, unlike North and East. For the Commons Experience, freshmen don’t get a say on what house they live in or who their roommate is. If you get West House, just learn to love it.
