Is Honors College and Residences the best dorm at Purdue?

Students rated Honors College and Residences a 4.9/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Get a triple. Triples in Honors might be the nicest room setup on campus. Best part about honors is how close it is to everything you do on a day-to-day basis.

The rooms are very nice! Spacious, lots of natural light, and the location on campus could not be any better. The only critique is people are disgusting in the bathrooms and the showers often flood, but they stay relatively clean.

The Honors Dorms are by far some of the best you can get on campus. The location is perfect; you are about as close as possible to the academic buildings as you can be and you are close to a Starbucks, two dining courts, the CoRec, and many other places. The rooms themselves are super nice, and considering the dorms were built in the 2010s, they are very nice and much more modern than other rooms on campus. My only complaint is sometimes residents do not use the shower curtain properly and the bathroom floors get slick (not the fault of the bathrooms, but the residents). There's plenty of study spaces and lots of areas to socialize or get some work done.

Definitely one of the nicest dorms on Purdue campus. Only complaint I have is that the ResLife (RAs, administrators etc.) seem much more strict than other dorms. Just something to keep in mind

Best freshman dorm on campus. Great location: could wake up, roll out of bed, and walk to class in less than 10 minutes; close to dining courts and has Cosi downstairs; Third Street Markets is right across the street; not too far from any of the other freshman dorms or Mackey/Ross-Ade. You share a bathroom/shower setup with 2-3 other rooms, which is a much better ratio than Shreve or Earhart, and there are plenty of private bathrooms if you're into that. 3 full sized lounges and 5 small lounges per floor in Honors North. There's a computer lab and printer in Honors South too. A half-kitchen (fridge, microwave, oven, sink) in Honors North basement and a full-kitchen (same as North plus a stovetop) in South. Only complaint is the price. Oh and you have AC!
