If you want luxury this is not it. If you want a good time, fun people, a solid location, this is...
This place slaps. Fire alarms wake me up at 3am for among us challenge. Luckily there is no ac in this building. That way no one can vent. Exterior is an astonishing work of art. Designed by some of the top engineers at the prestigious Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. This building, given the address 201 Ag Quad Lane, is most certainly one of the best buildings on this fine campus. You have to know what you’re getting yourself into. It’s a classic dorm experience which I’m thankful I had. It’s social and fun but not insane at all hours like some dorms. Each floor is 1 gender so you can be comfortable while still being close to meet others! Once you organize your room/furniture the small size is fine. The communal bathrooms aren’t bad as long as your hallmates have common respect.
The lack of a/c only matters for September, but everybody at least one large fan to put in the window and a small one for your desk. The bathrooms are not ideal, I'm pretty tall and the shower head was so low I was doing full squats to wash my hair. But everyone in your hall goes through the same things as you, and if you want to get your steps in the stairs will get you working. Elevators get repaired much more quickly than shorter buildings.
Keep your door and windows open and youll be fine. Slusher really isnt as bad as people say it is. Bring fans
It not that bad for dorm living. I loved it here and I wouldn't've wanted to live anywhere else. You grow to appreciate it.
