New Residence Hall East is a nice building. It’s pretty new as far as dorms go and the rooms are a pretty good size. However, I found that suite style makes it way harder to meet new people and make friends. In addition, none of the lounges have TV’s to congregate around. The location is pretty central. If it’s important to you to have more privacy, nicer finishes, and air conditioning, this dorm is a good choice. If you’re looking to make lots of new friends, I would not recommend this dorm.
