The best thing about East AJ was the community. The Honors Residential College lives in the dorm, and it is a conglomeration of all ages of students (freshmen-grad students) with many great bonding opportunities. Everyone is friendly. The rooms itself a re a bit small and the a/c system is a little confusing at first. Half of the hall is communal bathrooms and the other half has private baths. There is a communal kitchen and rec rooms connecting to west aj, and don’t forget about the in-house movie theater and gym. Very close to D2, West End, Cassell, and Lane, although fairly distant from academic side.

Very good location for sporting events, classes, and dining halls. Somewhat far from classes but there is a bus stop nearby and the walks themself aren't bad. Also has great amenities too along with an A/C system with individual room settings you can adjust. Some rooms are different with private baths, more space, and layouts though so hard to find a good room without knowing the dorm itself. Special amenities that are available: - some have private bathroom but not all - private gym - private theater
