I love living in Buckman for the aesthetic of the building, the proximity to food options and libraries, and the in-room sink! I will say I’ve had to kill a few more bugs than normal since I live on the first floor. The only other potential issue is that you can get a room that is much smaller or larger than the room next to you, since the building was converted from classrooms. I’ve personally loved my experience living here, though!

Location is spot-on and can't be beat. Rooms are fairly decent with wood flooring and lots of light but the kitchen/lounge are a bit dated. The outside space around buckman has plenty of seating which is a plus.

I loved my room so much. I had a triple and there was so much space, everyone was always surprised when they walked in. The location is great, it’s close to frats, restaurants, and most classes.

Because the number of people on the halls are much smaller than other dorms (only 8 rooms per floor), I never had to wait to use the bathroom or shower. The bathrooms were cleaned daily. The main downside of Buckman was that it...

Had a great room with a bay window and sink! The room was spacious for a dorm and brought in a lot of light. Area was really pretty, safe, and close to everything. Quiet building, not much social interaction between residents, though. Would highly recommend to students of any age!
