4-person rooms are pretty tight, not a lot of personal space, but private bathroom is a nice addition. Only downside to that is no community bathroom on the floor so if someone is in your bathroom you have to wait. Room was not clean when we moved in (like old clothes in drawers from the people last year) and mold in the shower. Even with all this, it was an experience unlike any other dorm on campus. 12th floor especially, the community there is amazing and you will bond with floormates so quickly. It's about the people, not the place!

It's not too bad, but it's also not the greatest situation. Being in a triple gives you the perfect amount of space without being too cramped, but a superdouble makes the room very spacious. Having your own bathroom is a serious perk that makes the crappier parts of the dorm worth it. There's a lot of study spaces and an entire basement to go to, but these areas are a bit grubby and could do with a revamp. The rooms themselves just seem a little dirty, but you get used to it when you cover things up with rugs and tapestries. The wall separating the desks and beds is a really weird, waffly material. The building can be quite old and it’s not very pretty, but having your own private bathroom really makes it worth it. It has a really nice location near high street, communal kitchen, and decent study areas!

Taylor Tower (aka TayTow) is in a great location in Ohio State’s north campus and serves as a the honors dorm in the north residential community. Located almost directly on lane and high, it is a perfect location for most STEM classes, chipotle lovers, and those who would like to take the COTA buses and explore Columbus. For freshmen in normal (non-COVID) circumstances, you’ll end up in a quad more than likely. While it is extremely crammed for space and the rooms and building are in need of an overhaul, the room is air-conditioned and is a suite with a common area for the roommates, a bedroom with 2 sets of bunks and 4 wardrobes/“closets”, and the best part, a private bath. "Superdouble" suite with bedroom and study room. Very spacious if you have 2 people, not so much if you have 4 like most freshman would. Building is old compared to the new dorms.
