Jones Tower Reviews
Ohio State University
Reviews Summary
Jones Tower is a well-situated dormitory that is highly recommended by its residents due to its convenient location. It is adjacent to key amenities like the gym, canteen, and a bus stop, making it a prime spot for students who value accessibility. While the building itself is older and some facilities show signs of age, it remains a functional and comfortable living space. Each floor contains two double-person rooms, with the remaining rooms being singles, which some students find beneficial for privacy despite the cramped bathrooms. The dorm features private bathrooms, which, though small, are appreciated by the residents. Air conditioning can be inconsistent, but it does not overshadow the dorm's positive attributes. The community atmosphere in the dorm may come across as lacking, prompting residents to seek social interactions through clubs and extracurricular activities. The upper floors offer a remarkable view, adding to the dorm's charm. Overall, Jones Tower provides a satisfactory living experience, especially for those prioritizing location.

I felt very good location. Next to it is a gym and canteen. Very, very convenient. I enjoyed this dormitory very much. Very recommended.

I think it's really good. It's really close to the gym and there's a cafeteria nearby. Recommend everyone to live here.

The buildings are older, the facilities are older, but it's in a good location close to the gym and the canteen and the bus stop.

Dorm was nice enough for an older building. Private bathrooms were nice and functional. Community in the dorm was very toxic.

Old dorm but nice to live in.
There are 2 double-person rooms on each floor, but the rest of the building is just singles. Building community, unsurprisingly, is pretty lackluster so join some clubs to make up for it.
The bathroom is cramped but you do have it all to yourself. Air conditioning can be wonky sometimes.
Location is pretty good in general, close to many dining locations and classrooms.
The view from the top few floors is unmatched.
