Pro:
- quad lets you meet people
- private bathroom

Con:
- small living space
- antisocial student population
- bad A/C

Cons definitely outweighed the pros in my case, but living in a quad is definitely a positive if you're at all introverted and want to be forced to make friends.

Houck has decent amenities (private bathroom, AC, kitchen), but the overall condition of the building and rooms made it subpar compared to the other dorms on campus. Furthermore, it was pretty inconvenient to have to walk over to Houston for every package I received. I would highly recommend using the stairs instead of the elevator because it would probably save you a decent amount of time (the elevator is SLOW). The good thing about Houck’s relatively small size is that you become very close with your hall mates. Houck is also very close to High Street so there’s no shortage of places to go around the area.

The room was WAYY too small for four people. The bathroom was okay, but gave me flashbacks of my high school bathrooms but in a private way. The entire dorm as a whole was disgusting, but at least there was AC.
