Pros: The location is very central to the lecture halls. The Farthest is probably the Union/Staller Steps, but even that is a <10 minute walk. I like being able to walk around the pond. Cons: Rooms are really old compared to the newer buildings. Dim lighting, small living room, and dirty AC unit. I recommend you take the time to clean the AC filter when you first move in. A lot of goose poop around the pond path.
Roth Quad rooms are the smallest out of the rest of the dorms on campus generally. You share a bathroom with your suite that can have up to 6 people. Compared to corridor style living, it is quite private. Mount is not any different from most Roth buildings, it's very similar to Hendrix. The rooms are a bit small and I lived particularly comfortably in a double as a single from fall 2020 - spring 2021. My room also had bunkbeds and a bed that's raised above the drawers stacked underneath it, so it seems unpleasant to share with a roommate given how small it was. Most rooms do not have bunkbeds at all and aren't on top of a bunch of drawers. This option will not likely be possible unless requested specifically with good reason (medical) a...
