The Roosevelt quad is probably the worst freshman quad that you can get. However, Keller is the best one out of the quad. Its not too bad living there, its just there are better places and as you get seniority you'll get better dorm buildings. Boys bathrooms are filthy just because it is a public bathroom that the whole hall uses which is the main struggle. There are water fountains on every floor except the 2nd floor so you should keep a few reusable bottles with you so you don't have to keep going to the water fountain every time you want water. The exterior of the building looks very old but the interior is not bad. It also helps that West Side Dining is a 2 min walk away and there is a bus stop there as well. There is also a bike rental... If you have the chance to live in the penthouse I highly recommend it. They are some of the newest rooms at SBU. The bathroom is brand new and has very spacious showers and is only shared by about 9 people. The entire floor is air-conditioned and it has a nice feel to it. The rooms also have gigabit ethernet. ERQ penthouse is easily the best corridor rooms to live in at Stony Brook.

The building wasn’t the greatest, but I made so many friends that I ended up loving it. People make all the difference.
