Number 10
Hendrix College
based on 1 review
"Roth quad is the nicest and closest dorm to the academic buildings for lower-classman. Most of the buildings in the quad have A/C. Hendrix is the closest to Javits (literally can roll out of bed 10 mins. before class). The building layout is more open than other buildings (like Gershwin and Whitman). The common lounge is nice when you want to watch movies with your friends. I also think Hendrix is the only building in the quad that has a functioning elevator for daily use.
Only con is the mold problem on the carpets. Chose the second floor if you don't want bugs during the beginning of the fall semester." - 4 years agoWe collected 1 dorm reviews for Hendrix College

Hand College
based on 2 reviews
"Pros: Having a kitchen is nice so you won't have to get a meal plan if you can cook. Close to Tabler Center to study and grab some drinks or snacks. Have a big lawn that is beautiful and pleasant. Good natural light depending on the time of day.
Cons: Far from campus and your classes. Small room compared to the freshman dorms.
Sophomore standing to dorm here.

Toscanini College
based on 2 reviews
"I lived in a suite here and absolutely loved it. Suite style is really the way to go. The RAs are the best, and the community is definitely something special. I made so many friends living here my first year. Everybody is super nice. The location in Tabler is not the best, but definitely worth it for this building. It’s right next to the TAC and not too far from West Side Dining and Roth (and you get a free meal swipe there everyday which is a big perk). It’s also the first building after the hill, so you’re home after the hard work :) I was in the Honors College and most HC first years live here." - 4 years ago

Whitman College

"Whitman is not as nice as other dorms like the West apartments or yang hall, but it has A.C. since it is part of Roth. That alone was a pretty good deal for me. Also, all of the rooms are part of a 4/6/7 people suite. You get a bathroom for your suite, which is cleaned once every week. There's also a volleyball court right in front of the building." - 4 years ago

Eisenhower College

"Public lounge areas are nice and clean. The suites are nice, but small. The elevator at Eisenhower seems a bit outdated because doors take a long time to close and shakes sometimes." - 2 years ago

"My room is a double so I share it with a roommate. The room is surprisingly spacious, and the window is big. My suite has a balcony which is nice. " - 1 year ago

Lauterbur Hall
based on 1 review
"Lauterbur is pretty great to live in. Rooms are usually suites of 6 people where there's 3 doubles. The sinks are in the hallway but its pretty annoying that the toilet and shower are in separate rooms. The rooms are dorm sized as usual but there's pretty good natural light that comes into the room. The location is great because West Side Dining is right in front of you and the SAC/center of campus is not far from there either. The bus stop is also right in front of the building. Overall great place to live." - 2 years ago

Baruch Hall
based on 1 review
"The location is great as it's very close to West Dining, it's within a 10 min walk to the main buildings of the campus, and a lot of the buses stop right in front of the building. The bedrooms are a bit small. The living rooms in the suites are a nice size. The bathroom I think is the best part as it's great for multiple people. The lounges are a little bit depressing, but maybe because the building is quite old. There is also an elevator in the building. Not sure about the differences between all the buildings in the Kelly community though." - 2 years ago

Yang College
based on 2 reviews
"Yang is one of the newer buildings like Lauterbur Hall and looks nice outside and inside. The dorms are doubles with 6 people in each suite. It's a bit annoying that the bathroom and shower are separated, but that's about it. The inside is nice, and I like the common area with some couches and a table. Then, it's up to you to spruce it up. The dorm is right across from west side dining, which is convenient if you have a meal plan to get a quick bite. Also a 7-minute walk from the SAC and there's a bus stop right there so the location is really good. Pretty good for its price as well, its the best dorm right below West Apartments" - 2 months ago
