West Apts is pretty cool for the price you get. It beats having to pay for a meal plan in other dorms. However, if you don't cook (like me), I recommend just going to another dorm or buying an apartment meal plan and cooking every so often. The other comment is objectively false. Staff cleans your kitchen/bathroom/common room weekly and takes out the trash. Your bedroom is your own responsibility. I stayed in West C... A/B/C/D are the oldest and run down... avoid those 4. The others are newer and probably nicer. The only real negative ... See more

The room itself was fine but you have to share with 4 sometimes 6 random strangers. They never take out the garbage and you have to clean your own bathroom. (Like that is going to happen.) Very far from main campus unless you have a bike or like taking long walks.
