Parkside Arts and Humanities Residential College
Browse 8 Parkside Arts and Humanities Residential College reviewsFeatured student reviewParkside A&H is pretty far away from the rest of campus, so walking to classes in the morning might be a little strenuous. At least you're getting your cardio in! A&H is right next to Parkside Dining Hall, so its convenient. The rooms are decently sized, if a bit small for two people. Four people share a bathroom. I have found mold (?) growing on the bathroom sink, but you do get cleaning staff who come once a week to clean the bathrooms, so it's a tradeoff. Trash rooms are located on each floor, with recycling bins and compost containers. Water fountains are a little less numerous, and depending on where your suite is, you might have to walk a bit to get water. We have had consistent elevator trouble throughout the two semesters I've been here. One of the elevators will often be broken, making it a long wait. Allegedly, one of the elevators fell down from the second floor, but the person inside was okay. I have since then sworn off the elevators unless necessary. - 2 years ago

Webb Tower
Browse 9 Webb Tower reviewsFeatured student reviewI stayed at Webb for my 2nd year and it was actually not our top choice but we were still very happy about it. I shared it with one other person in a 1B/1B apt. We lived on the 15th floor (the highest) and it was very nice! We didn't have a problem with bugs or loud noises at all. The only thing would be the elevator that would break down every once in a while and we would have to use the stairs up :D.... But compared to other locations on campus, I would say Webb Tower is the best if you want an apartment on campus! The Starbucks is located right downstairs, the village with Trader Joe's and Target across the street, the gym literally a 1 minute walk away. Just the downside(?), it's located at the corner of campus so walking to classes take a little longer. - 4 years ago

Troy Hall
Browse 2 Troy Hall reviewsFeatured student reviewApartments in Troy Hall are extremely spacious. I live in a 4-person apartment and there are 2 bathrooms total, a balcony, a big living room, and a kitchen. There is even a walk-in closet for one of the rooms. I really like the layout of the room. The building is definitely not as new as the ones at the village but everything works and it doesn't feel old at all. It's 3-min walk to Target and a 5 to 7-min walk to campus. As it is considered off-campus, it is close to all the restaurants and food places (ex. McDonald's, Pot of Cha, etc.) Most importantly, the prices are so cheap! A 2-person apartment at Troy Hall is probably cheaper than 4-person apartments at CarGar or Century. - 2 years ago

Cale and Irani Residential College
Browse 11 Cale and Irani Residential College reviewsFeatured student reviewOne of best buildings imo cuz it on the newer side and not having communal bathrooms is great. it is pretty socially dead ngl which means its a nice to study and nap but ur not gon meet a lot of new ppl just by living here. ra arent involved in ur life at all so ig u dont have to worry abt them being on ur case all the time but u dont rlly get a lot of support either tbh. but yeah overall super chill dorm in the village (which is def nice but the village dining hall sucks) - 3 years ago

Fluor Tower
Browse 4 Fluor Tower reviewsFeatured student reviewI absolutely loved living in Fluor! I didn't really know anyone at USC before I started and the suite style living helped me start off with 7 good friends from the start. Plus, air conditioning, living room area, and private bathroom make it a really nice place to live. Bathroom has 2 stalls, 2 showers, and 3 sinks for the 8 of you. - 4 years ago

Nemirovsky and Bohnett
Browse 14 Nemirovsky and Bohnett reviewsFeatured student reviewI live in a loft (2B4P) and the space is amazing. I know people may be worried about the small size, but it actually feels very homey and also if you are someone who only uses your dorm space to sleep and shower, get the loft! You save a lot of money and you still get everything you need: AC, kitchen, bathroom, and more! The only downside is having one bathroom. Sometimes, if someone is using the bathroom, I have to wait for him to finish or go down to the lobby to use the public bathroom. Cooking may be a little overwhelming at times because the counters have little space, but it is doable. The walls are thin as well so if your roommates are loud, noise cancelling may be an issue. - 2 years ago

Cowlings and Ilium
Browse 12 Cowlings and Ilium reviewsFeatured student reviewLived in a 2B with one bath, two people in each room. The bathroom is like a hotel bathroom. The kitchen is a little small but big enough to share. The furniture is high quality. One of the rooms is long and skinny while the other is box shaped which is kind of weird. There’s not really a way of telling which you’re gonna get until you move in. You can see this on the floor plans. Cannot beat the location. The building is new and well maintained. The walls are pretty thick, I never had any problems with noise. Lounges are clean and useful. Cons- you need to purchase a microwave - 4 years ago

McCarthy Honors Residential College
Browse 23 McCarthy Honors Residential College reviewsFeatured student reviewI really loved living in McCarthy! The amenities are incredibly nice and unparalleled to what other freshmen dorms receive. For example, our building has AC, cleaning done twice a week, individual bathrooms, microwave and fridge, and easy access to the village. There are also many study lounges available for you to study with your friends (at least 4+ per floor). - 2 years ago

McMorrow Residential College
Browse 5 McMorrow Residential College reviewsFeatured student reviewIt's a quiet dorm with muted hallway colors. There isn't too much socialization that occurs on the hallways, but the people are friendly and interesting. The loft is a bit small as there is less kitchen counter space and if you study at the desk it is a bit dark (a lamp is needed). Overall the room has everything one could need from a room with three small fridges, two microwaves, and a stove with burners. The only limit to what you do with the room is bounded by your imagination. - 2 years ago

Parkside International Residential College
Browse 7 Parkside International Residential College reviewsFeatured student reviewI loved living in Parkside IRC my freshman year! The room was super clean and spacious and my roommate and I both got our own closets, dressers, and desks with a hutch so there was ample storage space. The ceilings are also really high which makes the space feel bigger, too. Housekeeping would come in to clean the bathrooms twice a week, which was so nice. I liked the proximity of IRC to the, in my opinion, best dining hall on campus. However, it is a 15-20 minute trek to the center of campus and Leavey Library and definitely one of the more quiet and less social dorms. I wouldn’t change my decision to live here if I were to go back, though! - 2 years ago
