Is Barringer Hall the best dorm at Virginia Tech?
Students rated Barringer Hall a 3.5/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
Not to bad. In 19-20 there isn't AC in a lot of the dorms so that's not really a deal breaker. Laundry is good and the bathrooms are really nice. It is pretty far away from the academic side of campus. (Goodwin is a good 15-20 min walk), but other than that for being an all guys dorm its alright.
Not a bad place to live if you don't mind an all guys dorm. Its kind of quiet and more chill so if you want a more social vibe maybe try for somewhere else. The bathrooms are relatively new and there is a communal kitchen on the second floor. Each room should have a sink and a window. It's a little far from the academic buildings but not too bad. Close to the library and Owen's dining hall. No AC or elevators but only 3 floors.
