Is East Quad the best dorm at UMich?
Students rated East Quad a 4.7/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.
i loved east quad!! i was there during the summer semester of 2022 and had such a spacious room (obviously every room is different), and loved having AC (unlike my fall/winter dorm).
Being it nursing student, the location wasn’t too ideal. But it’s fine with the buses! There’s really everything you need in there (dining hall, mail room, laundry). Everything looks pretty renovated too.
It's probably one of the best dorms out here. I think the food isn't the best but the location is perfect and it's clean. If you're in Ross then it's right next door. The only issue is there isn't a kitchen so it would be hard to cook on your own if you didn't buy a dining hall pass. p.s. I came from Jed's vid ;)
Great dorm, but the windows were small and could only be opened a little so it was a bit stuffy and dry in the winter. Fantastic bathrooms and very central location. Would 100% live here again!
It is by everything. The quad is a 5-minute walk and all the good bars are nice and close. The basement is sick and the elevators are fast. The food was decent with lots and lots of options. Cons, classes are a bit of a walk.
