"Smaller dorm with a really nice location. Close to central campus and right next to the CCRB and CCTC. Has a grand circular study area with other smaller lounges. Since it is on the smaller side, there is not as much amenities as other dorms like west or mojo, but is a great place to be if you want a less populated area with close proximity to central."

"Best location on central, having a single is worth it because the room is enormous and private. Bathrooms haven’t been updated in a while but the quiet study rooms downstairs are amazing."

"I lived here for 3 years. For those who may be more shy and introverted, this is an easy way to make friends based on the fact that it's a small dorm and there is a real sense of community. There is a ton of within-dorm traditions and activities that you can partake in (or not, I didn't do a ton of stuff through the dorm). The building itself is old but beautiful and depending on if you stay for more than one year, you can get a really large double or single. The dining hall is only for residents and I never got bored with the options. The bathrooms are fine, there are several kitchenettes on each floor, a hang out space in the basement with TV, piano etc, and two large living spaces. However, the best thing is the LOCATION. I would roll out of bed 10 minutes before class and be in Angell Hall on time. Close to Law Library, Union, Ross, and the walk to the Big House is very short. "

"Really big dorm. Like 500 people in here. Was on the fifth floor. Lotta people so a lotta noise pretty much 24/7. Dinining Hall gets pretty busy but is really nice. the elevator breaks down a lot, which could be bad if you broke your leg or smthg. Great overall!"

"If you got Mojo, you lucked out! Mojo's a great dorm and has a great community - walkable to a lot of campus attractions and facilities (central campus buildings, gym, arb, dining hall, downtown)! Pros: -Great living communities (MRADS and WISE) -A lot of communal lounges that are great study and gathering spaces - there's also a quiet study lounge (the Morgue) -Beautiful architecturally and warm lighting throughout the dorm so it has a very welcoming and homey ambience -Unlike the other dorms in the Hill area (Couzens, Lloyd, Stockwell), Mojo has a dining hall and cafe which makes it convenient, especially during the winter, to not have to leave the building to get food -The Hill Area is also more quiet relative to other central campus areas so all within a 15-minute walking radius, you can get a good balance of the lively downtown scene and quieter Hill area -It has the Palmer Field, basketball and tennis courts, and CCRB neighboring it (less than 5-minute walk) which makes it very convenient to exercise and gather with friends -Less than 10-minute walk to the CCTC (central bus station where the university and city buses all stop) -Right next to the hospitals so if you have a part-time job/research work/etc, it's a very convenient walk -Right down the street from the Arb which is a beautiful place to go on dates, walks, runs, etc (and peonies bloom in the early summer) Cons: -Shower/bathroom space a bit smaller / not that spacious (bringing a shower caddy is helpful) -Double rooms may be smaller relative to other dorms but very manageable "

"i loved east quad!! i was there during the summer semester of 2022 and had such a spacious room (obviously every room is different), and loved having AC (unlike my fall/winter dorm). "

"south quad is the best dorm building you can get on campus. not only is it close to everything, the dining hall is the best and the space in the lobby and basement is great. tbh, the only thing that sucked (but not enough to remove a star) is that some dorms, like mine, don't have AC, so the hot days were just terrible, but nonetheless it was a great dorm to be placed in for my first year. "The dorm overall is in my opinion the best freshman dorm. You have to walk to South Quad for meals but the building itself is really nice with updated bathrooms, dorms and community spaces. Being connected to the Union is also very convenient (especially when it's cold). My room looked towards the Union and below was where the garbage trucks emptying dumpsters so the view and location were not great, and the dorm sizes vary depending on which hall you are in. I would not have wanted to be in any other dorm for freshman year."

"Alice Lloyd has it all. The location is not too far from anywhere, the Hill is the *perfect* atmosphere to live in, and everyone says "Oh wow I wish I lived there" anytime it comes up. This may be because I got lucky with a larger-than-average room for Alice and my friends got unlucky with a smaller-than-average room for Mojo, but my room is legitimately twice as large. That's not an exaggeration lol."

"This is my first year on campus and NQ is definitely one of the best buildings. I have a single which is very spacious and I share a bathroom with 2 others that is key-carded so only we can get in. Every dorm has AC, a window, hardwood floors, and modular furniture. The bathroom has two sinks and then the toilet and shower are together behind another door that is lockable. The layout is great because it means your roommates can go brush their teeth and get ready without you having to worry about them seeing you in the shower or whatever. Also, the shower pressure and internet are both very good. NQ is a great dorm and I can’t imagine living anywhere else for my first year here."
