Mesa Verde Reviews
UC San Diego Roosevelt College (ERC)
Reviews Summary
Mesa Verde is a charming option for students seeking a peaceful and spacious living environment at ERC. The dorm boasts lovely natural light, offering a pleasant atmosphere for residents. One of its standout features is the scenic view of the ERC green, perfect for leisurely strolls or simply enjoying the view. Most reviewers appreciate the ample space in the rooms, which are clean and modern, as well as the generous common areas. However, some residents found the mini-double rooms to be cramped due to shared closets and tight bunk arrangements. While the kitchen facilities are generally considered adequate, the sinks received some critique. The separate design of the bathroom facilities, with toilets distinct from showers, adds convenience. A potential advantage for many is the dorm's quieter location, ideal for those who prefer some distance from the bustling campus center, despite it being somewhat isolated and away from classes. Mesa Verde is best suited for students who value tranquility and affordability.

Love the natural light but hate the showers cuz it gets misty. Have a nice view of the green but am not a fan of the kitchen sink

Conducive environment overall, quite affordable. Would recommend other students to stay here as well.

I lived in Mesa Verde Apts. Honestly a nice choice for me, being in a quieter area of ERC. Very spacious compared to other apartments on campus; the bedrooms are clean and newer. Kitchen was adequate. Location wise, it's awkward and far from almost anything else (especially classes), but I guess that's the trade-off.

I would recommend the fact that most of the rooms within the ERC apartments are singles but I had lived in a mini-double. We had to share the closet and overall the bunks were very close to the ceiling. The common areas were nice and I loved the separate toilet from the shower area.

I was really lucky and got 4th floor (I've been to 1st floor and it was really dingy).
My suite had a nice view and was breezy. The common area was quite large and the rooms were pretty nice. The only downsides were the super slow elevator and the distance from all my classes. Personally, I liked being away from the center of the campus so I could physically distance the place where I relax from classes. ERC green is also nice to walk on / look at.
