Lived in Asia Hall. Pros: it's very communal so you do make acquaintances pretty easily. Modernized rooms and clean bathrooms. Cons: prepare to give up a fair amount of privacy. It is crowded and hard to find alone time there. Far from almost everything else on campus. Prepare to walk a lot.
I have stayed in two places on campus (ERC res halls and Revelle res halls) and visited Warren res halls. ERC definitely had the best rooms and the best overall layout for the building as well as being the only one with a kitchen. The location was decent because it is closest to the RIMAC gym and the beach but it is very far from most lecture halls so be prepared to leave for class early. The bathrooms were better than the Revelle ones and they are pretty clean depending on who you're living with (shoutout to the cleaning service workers). The closest dining hall to the ERC res halls is Cafe Ventanas which I would rate a 3/5 overall since it is not terrible but it could definitely benefit from improvements.
