Room 224. I lived in it when it was still an underclassman dorm, and when it was a double, so my experience is a bit different. But since it will be a single from now on (I think), the size is good, big closet and room for storage space, big window. But there is no AC, only a heater, and it's old building so you get TONS of bugs if you don't take precautions. The building has no laundry, kitchen, AC, or elevator, small bathroom, I don't remember if it even has study spaces, and when I lived there an acapella group practiced late at night outside my window. The best thing about this dorm is the location, pretty firmly in the center of campus and short walks to wherever you want to go.
The room was simply alright. It was on the "basement" level of the dorm building so we were essentially on ground level. This meant that if our blinds were open, you could easily see us by simply walking past. The location was solid relatively centered on campus but because of this many people would walk by the room, causing there to be loud and busy nights. The dorm building was one of the university's first and coming with that, were multiple dinks and cracks that didn't shy away from little critters from showing up every now and then which was horrible at times- it got to the point where we put on sticky traps on the floor. No A/C of course, only a heater. There was no laundry unit in the building so we had to go outside and walk next do...
