Since the building is brand new, there are still some kinks being worked out, but it's nice to be in a new building with convenient access to the dining hall!
I got a spectacular double on the fourth floor that faces across Poe Field, and my roommate and I can see Dillon Gym and Rocky/Mathey from our window. The rooms are brand new and super spacious, at least for doubles. Fu Hall is especially nice because you can take the elevator straight down to the dining hall, and there is laundry on the second floor. The hallways are illuminated with sunlight as there are a good amount of windows and lights, and the common rooms are great open spaces as well. The bathrooms are gender neutral which means that there is often a lot of hair that you are dealing with on a constant basis.
A bit far from the rest of campus, but it's nice being in a new dorm room and building. It's pretty clean, and the dining hall is great.
Communal bathrooms were kept mostly clean, and most of the time had hot water, but most importantly, they were very private, with the ability to lock shower and bathroom doors, and basically have a private bathroom to yourself. The actual building is brand new and very modern, and it's usually very clean, but since it's new, there were a few things not fully resolved. The fire alarm goes off randomly once every two weeks or so (occasionally at like 3 a.m. too), the hot water would just stop some nights, and the stairs next to the main entrance of Fu have been unusable since Day 1, which is both incredibly annoying and incredibly stupid.
