I love living in Spelman! Downsides — it's far west, so especially if you spend a lot of time on the far side of Washington Road, you likely won't want to make the trek home mid-day, and you have to go outside to use the laundry, no matter which tower you're in. I'm in an eating club and in Spelman, but from seeing my roommates, it seems really helpful to have the in-room kitchen, and I'm super happy with the private bathroom. The common rooms are spacious and the rooms are totally fine for one person (everyone has a single, which is really nice). The windows can feel a little awkward since they're so big and people can definitely see in, but depending on which tower you're in there's more or less visibility to major campus walkways.
Really beautiful dorm, and love the 4 singles/bathroom/living room setup. Feels like living in an apartment. Only downside is laundry room is in tower 5, and there is no elevator for the higher floors.
