I lived in 522, which is on the third floor of the fifth entryway. The fifth entryway is cut off from the rest of cuyler, which means u need to fully exit the building to get water, and you need to go to the basement for the bathroom - this was 4 floors below me! The other entryways are attached to the kitchenette and have a bathroom on the third floor, so this was a unique issue for rooms in entryway 5. The room is rly rly large for a one room double and has 11 windows so tons of natural light. But a good amount of bugs and dust bleh.
Cuyler is very nice. We chose to do 2 singles and have someone take the common room because the double room is quite small (looks more like a single). It's a very clean building and the janitor cleans the bathrooms literally every morning M-F and takes out the trash for all of the rooms. The only con about the bathroom is that you have to go downstairs, but it's well-ventilated, clean, spacious, and it's never full (always available). The rooms have really nice natural light although the staircase is dark. Cuyler is always last to be picked (we got a horrible draw time), so if you're a triple or double, this is a really nice pick that is also in the center of campus (super close to Frist, Dillon Gym, & UStore.
Location convenient but the rooms are old and noisy, hallways also look a bit odd. Rooms lowkey smaller thqn other places ive stayed. Avoid if possible
