Room is large and spacious, was just about perfect for what I needed. The bathroom on the other hand was super grungy. Pretty sure there was mold on the ceiling because of the lack of ventilation. Hallway and living area were fine. Not much to say except they didn't provide a couch, only chairs and a teeny table. Kitchen was the smallest I've ever seen, only one ground level cabinet below the sink, very few drawers and head level cabinets. I'd rather have one more ground level cabinet for storage over the dishwasher they provided, there's that little storage space. You can only really fit one person in the kitchen, otherwise you have to shimmy by each other it's so small.
Lived in apt 34 (2 standard doubles). Overall wasn’t too bad, rooms ended up being more comfortable than we initially thought. Closet space was a bit weird, only one small closet in each room, a coat closet in between the two rooms, and then a storage closet in the bathroom (storage one was way too big and should’ve been used to extend the bathroom and kitchen because they were small) heat worked fine, took some fiddling. we did have mice problems 3x. Kitchen was small and had poor storage, definitely get extra storage of your own. Building is relatively fine, we always saw the guys cleaning the hallway carpet (apt had hardwood) and great location.
Stayed there in a Studio Double that should've really been a Studio Single. Little to no room to actually move around, ventilation was horrible so if someone took a hot shower or made a bowl of pasta, the whole studio would be humid for hours, made worse by the lack of AirCon in the summer. Bathroom is weirdly big and nearly 2-3x the size of the Kitchen which is incredibly tiny. Our sink had a leak that needed to be fixed repeatedly in the small span of 2 months. Outside of the room, the floor is weirdly uneven, especially on the stairs, the elevators often take years as they're incredibly old, which makes moving in and out a pain, especially because the building entrance has a set of stairs and no ramp. On more occasion than one did I spot...
Great location but the room I shared with my roommate was incredibly small. Bathroom was nice. There was a kitchen, but you could only really have one person in it at a time.
