I would live here again only for the purpose of location. The building is old with obvious flaws and the street can get really loud especially on a lower floor.
110 St. Stephens is a bit of a toss-up quality-wise. On one hand it is very close to everything you could need on campus, but compared to other northeastern dorms there are quite a few negative aspects. For one, if your room faces the alley (at least half of the rooms do) there’s very loud trash pickup at like 7 a.m. every day. At least twice a week the trash guys accidentally set off an alarm that’s ridiculously loud, and we always had to call NUPD to get them to turn it off. The kitchen is tiny but has everything you need, really only space for one person at a time. The bathroom is also small but satisfactory - the shower water smells kinda weird, just don’t drink it. It did had some obvious flaws. But I didn't think it was too bad, I have no horror stories and I could imagine spending another semester here if necessary. - It is right next to the campus, it didn't take long to walk to the other buildings - My dorm had a small hallway, bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom / main room. The hallway and kitchen were really small but the main room size was decent - There was laundry downstairs and a common room which had AC. I don't think many people used the common room though - No elevator but I think there are only 1 or 2 floors, and no crowding around the elevator like EV / IV. So I consider this a pro - No AC and it gets really hot in the summer. I'm someone who almost never gets hot and I still think it was ...
