10 Coventry Reviews

Northeastern University

Reviews Summary

10 Coventry is a well-regarded dormitory with a mix of positives and some drawbacks, offering a unique residential experience for Northeastern University students. Positioned in the Roxbury area, it's a decent location that might not be central to all classes but is convenient if you're on a co-op near Ruggles. The dorm is praised for its modern apartment-style setup, featuring spacious kitchens and living rooms that give it a real home-like vibe, all fitted with modern appliances. Despite the spacious common areas, some students felt that the bedrooms, especially doubles, are somewhat cramped, often having to rearrange furniture for comfort. The bathrooms have received positive feedback, described as possibly the best at NU. The dorm provides two bathroom facilities in certain apartment setups, which is a luxury appreciated by many students. While the lofted beds are a standard feature, they may not be to everyone's liking due to limited accessibility. Street noise from Coventry Street can be a downside, along with some noise issues from construction at LightView. A small concern for some residents was a minor mice problem and lack of lighting in living areas, which can easily be rectified by bringing extra lamps. Despite these minor issues, most students were satisfied, noting the good value for the price. All in all, 10 Coventry offers a compelling residential option with its balance of comfort, modern amenities, and value, making it a favored choice for those seeking an apartment-style living environment at Northeastern University.

Decent location for an apartment in the Roxbury side, but not great in that respect. Dorm itself is actually very nice for Northeastern standards.

Definitely good for the price. Does have lofted beds and the bedrooms can be a little cramped. I thought the bathroom and kitchen were fairly good however.

3 singles with 2 bathrooms?! Yes please!
Living in Coventry was great and I wish I could've stayed longer.

I loved living in Coventry and wish I could've lived there longer. The kitchen was so nice and the living room was big and spacious. I lived in a double so that was pretty tight. We ended up moving my roommate's desk into the living room to have more space, and it fit nicely in the living room.

Generally, nice place to live. I lived while they were constructing LightView so I heard the horrible pounding, but its good. Can sneak in through the window on the first floor if you're smart about it. But bathroom, kitchen that extended into living room were good. Good sophomore dorm.

It was great to have this apartment stule room with a living room and kitchen as a freshman, and would definitely suggest it over other freshman forms. However, things like my lofted bed, getting woken up by coventry street noises, and being able to stare into about 20 different Lightview classrooms were cons that would prevent me from wanting to live there again.

Best dorm i ever had at NU. Huge kitchen with modern appliances. Big living room. Bedroom was a bit small. There was a lack of lighting in the living room, you probably need to bring a lamp. The bathroom was really nice, best at NU possibly. Location is near Ruggles so good if you're on co-op but a bit annoying since it's a bit far from most classes. Really nice vibes here, felt like a real modern apartment building.

A little bit of a mice problem but if you somehow score an apartment with two singles, congratulations. A lot of space for two people
