"NO ELEVATOR. I lived on the third floor and it was a pain to move in and move out. Close to bus stop and west village dining hall. The kitchen is bigger than other freshman dorms. Far away from the laundry. 10 minutes walk from most classes."

"Not bad! Didn't experience any significant issues and don't have much to complain about. Building isn't too old. Don't really like the yellow dorm walls though. "

"Since the renovation in 2020, the rooms are really nice and the community spaces are great places to meetup with friends and hallmates. I loved living here my freshman year as it was close to the CRC and the shortest walk from the Volleyball courts and Dining Hall. It was also nothing to get late night food at Tech Plaza or the restaurants on Northside Drive. The only problem is that most of what makes Georgia Tech resides on east campus so you feel kind of isolated from everyone. "

"The GLC was a great segue from dorms to apartment living. The furniture is similar to what you get at in the freshman dorms but the big difference is that the rooms are typically a similar size to freshman dorms but obviously you aren't sharing the room with another person. I had plenty of light and free space in my room and while the furniture is nothing special - it's perfectly solid and does the job. A good-sized kitchen and living room plus in-building mail, gym (very small but existant), and laundry is a big plus. I also think that due to type of people the GLC attracts (relative to places like NAVE), it is much quieter and cleaner in general. The location gets a bad rap but I think it's really underrated. If proximity to greek orgs is a factor - I'd argue you're just as close to most of greek housing as NAVE. If proximity to class is your optimizing factor - it's as far a walk from tech green as NAVE and for ME, CS, Arch, or any of the majors where you have classes in the biotech quad - you're significantly closer. Regarding food, you are a pretty short walk from Papa Johns and the cluster of restaurants further up like Subline Doughnuts, Firehouse Subs, Tech Taco, Rocky Mountain Pizza, etc."

"Overall, a good Freshman dorm. Nice lounge area. There was an exercise bike on my floor. Laundry is in Fitten which isn't the best, but it isn't that far of a work."

"One of the newer buildings on the west campus. Connected with Montag so if you have friends living there, it's easy to walk downstairs to visit. There're 2 elevators available. Printer and laundry are in Fitten, kinda inconvenient on rainy days. During my freshman year, there were 3 to 4 fire alarms every semester. Some rooms smell funny. Freeman is moister compared to Montag. Other facilities mostly better compared to other dorms."

"The vibes of NAV are by far the best in terms of apartments on campus. The views from the higher floors (especially on the freeway side) are hella nice. Plus you get the nice nav courtyard spot and basketball court. Easily the best apartment on campus. Just hope you get lucky and don't get one of the apartments with flooding issues. Also a heads up, the freeway side can get loud with the traffic and sirens but it wasn't that bad in my opinion"

"It was newly renovated when I lived in Towers. Had new showers and updated laundry machines. Each room has an aAC thermostat unlike older dorms that have central heat. Very good location for freshmen since it’s next to freshmen hill and the CULC and library. Close to the dining halls and across the street from Bobby Dodd stadium."

"Apartment of 4 or 6. Kitchen and bathroom with the apartment. Elevators available. Close to CRC (the gym). Single bedroom with reasonable lighting. Very quiet and safe."

"Lived here temporarily while waiting for another room, and been here many times outside of that. By FAR both Glenn and Towers are the best East campus dorms. If you take West into account, they rival the best there too. Amazing place to live, great bathrooms, frequent cleaning. Great for gender inclusivity with the individual bathrooms as well. If you can get Glenn or Towers definitely pick one of them. "
