Glenn Reviews

Georgia Institute of Technology

Reviews Summary

Glenn is widely regarded as one of the best dorms on campus, particularly for freshmen. The dorm has been recently renovated, making it cleaner and more modern compared to others. Its prime location on East Campus offers easy access to the stadium, classes, and the library, which is great for late-night study sessions. The rooms, though small, are well-maintained and feature new amenities, including effective air conditioning. Residents find the bathrooms to be typically clean and appreciate the gender inclusivity of the individual units. Each floor is equipped with laundry facilities, adding to the convenience. The dorm also features bright rooms, lounges, study rooms, and a small gym within the GT Connector. Although temperature control can be a bit tricky, a simple fan usually resolves the issue. Overall, Glenn combines comfort, convenience, and an excellent location, making it a top choice for those entering college life.

I lived in a quad my freshman year and Glenn is definitely the best option! It was renovated fairly recently and is SO much nicer than the other dorms I have seen on campus. The location is awesome being right beside the stadium and nearby to classes. It's also <5 min walk to the library so it's perfect for late night studying. I was on floor 0 which was awesome and we had a corner quad so the rooms were bigger. As for the bathrooms they are super nice for a freshman dorm, they just get a bit dirty over the weekends. Laundry is on every floor so that's nice too.

Lived here temporarily while waiting for another room, and been here many times outside of that. By FAR both Glenn and Towers are the best East campus dorms. If you take West into account, they rival the best there too. Amazing place to live, great bathrooms, frequent cleaning. Great for gender inclusivity with the individual bathrooms as well. If you can get Glenn or Towers definitely pick one of them.

By far the best dorm on campus along with Towers. Access to the Connector is really nice, and it's newly renovated. The bathrooms were always clean. The rooms were bright which helped make it feel nicer. We found the temperature a little hard to control - it would stay cold in the bottom half of the room while it was hot in bed. Nothing a fan can't fix. I personally enjoyed the location on east campus, but east vs. west is mostly personal preference. The small gym is nice, and there was lots of available study space. Laundry on every floor which is a huge plus.

I loved living in Glenn! It is the nicest freshman dorm on campus. The rooms are small but new and clean. AC works great and the bathrooms are communal and typically clean (dependent on hallmates). There are nice lounges, study rooms, and a small gym in the GT Connector. Laundry is on every floor. The location is one of the best, even if it is at the bottom of freshman hill. Towers is pretty similar.

Nicest dorm on campus, and the most recently renovated. Compared to some West Campus dorms, this one is a bit smaller in size, but having a quad gives you more space per person compared to a double (and costs about $150/semester less).

Laundry is also very convenient, as there is one room per floor (while other residence hall require you to travel to another floor or another nearby building).

The nicest freshman dorm on campus. Rooms are clean and new but still small. Bathrooms are usually clean with roomy showers.
