Is Cypress Hall the best dorm at USF?

Students rated Cypress Hall a 4.1/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

This dorm was pretty big compared to other dorms I have seen. It was a suite where there is 2 rooms per suite, 2 people in each room and 2 bathrooms to share between the 4 people. One bathroom was just a shower and one bathroom was just a toilet and sink. Both bathrooms were fine, nothing fancy but much much better than a communal bathroom. I felt there was plenty of space for both me and my roommate in our dorm. The location was okay, it was a further away from classes than I would have liked but I had a bike so it wasn't awful. The dining haul (The Hub) was close-ish. There was a large window in the dorm and it was nice. Overall, I would recommend this to my friends.

I lived in Cypress my freshman year, it was a suite, where there were 2 dorm rooms in a unit that shared 2 bathrooms, one bathroom had a toilet and sink and one bathroom had a shower. The dorm itself is a nice size since you share with one other person. There was a decent amount of natural lighting and there was also a sink in the room. The closet is tiny but it can fit what you need, I don't have a ton of clothes and it being Florida there is no need to store huge coats. It is nice that you don't need to share a bathroom with 20 other college students. The 2 bathrooms being shared between 4 people was never really an issue, and the shower had good water pressure and hot water as well. There was a lounge area with a kitchen. The kitchen was never really used, so it was always clean and the lounge area was perfect for super late night study sessions. This dorm was pretty nice and I would recommend it for someone who wants to be on campus their first year once the pandemic is over. The only downside is that it is kinda far from classes, you will definitely want a bike to get to classes.
