Castor is in a wonderful location that's close to the MSC and Argos, with Castor beach just a minute's walk away. The people in Castor are wonderful - most of my friends live in Castor, and from what I've seen the people are a lot friendlier here than in any other dorm. However, if you have to pay for Castor, I would recommend investing in an off-campus apartment, unless you are fine with community bathrooms. There's been a sugar ant problem both in the bathrooms and in the dorms. Thankfully, the insect exterminator that Castor called in (free of charge) was able to get rid of the dorm ants, but the bathrooms continue to have an issue.
Small, but livable. The worst part is the communal bathrooms. Definitely would find a single before double so sign up early. Also, laundry is on the first floor, remember that when hurling laundry up and down the steps every week. Kitchen is on the second floor.
The rooms are incredibly small. The bathrooms were always vaguely gross (my floormates were disgusting) but they were cleaned daily! (Loved the janitor super sweet lady) Perfect location near the center of campus and it was super easy to make friends there. If you end up here don’t worry its not the worst and I don’t regret living there but just know it won’t be the, highest quality of living
Pretty nice overall, rooms are a little small for two people, but not a huge problem. The bathrooms are communal, but well kept. The communal kitchens are decent, but not as well kept as the other areas.
