Is Mesa Court the best dorm at UCI?

Students rated Mesa Court a 3.8/5 stars. Here's what they had to say.

Absolutely hated it. It felt like I was at a summer camp with the bunk bed and tight spaces that for sure was not meant for three people. The bathrooms were really creepy and overall the place was old. Also, NO AC!!!! just a heater which made the room smell funky.

Ass the only pros were the people but the whole building was a con, fucking fell off the bunk and almost died because they refused to fix the railing. On god run

I lived in Cumbre. The building was pretty old but was reasonably clean. 2 people per room and 1 bathroom (with 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 2 sinks) for every 6 rooms.

The dorms are quite small but very well maintained. There is no air conditioning which is annoying during the summer. Other then that, I would say that the community as a whole is louder than Middle Earth but can be good if you want to be more social. Also being in the hillside or lower Mesa sucks when you have to go to classes or the Anteatery but it's convenient that we are closer to the housing office :/

Classes were pretty far from my dorm and my hall was in the middle so it’s not too bad but even then, I wouldn’t waste time to go back to the dorm during breaks because I was wasting so much time walking. MSTB was like a 20 minute walk away. During my first month at UCI, 5 RAs got fired in Mesa Court which was fun for my friend’s because they got to smoke weed in the common room without any problems. Overall, I would rate a 3 and I would have much rather preferred living in Middle as I’ve seen that halls were so much closer and friendlier rather than cliquey and fake in Mesa.
